Venison & Ground Sausage Chili

1 lb ground venison

1 lb ground pork sausage

( I purchased ground pork sausage from local butter) delicious

1 tbsp butter

3 white onions diced

1 green pepper diced

1 red pepper diced

3 cans condensed tomatoe soup

3 cans bush chili beans medium sauce

1 can bush chili beans hot sauce

1 can kidney beans rinsed

3 cups water

2 15 oz can whole tomatoes diced

1 28 oz crushed tomatoes

1/2 cup chili powder

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

1/2 tsp salt

1 tbsp cumin

 

Saute onions & peppers in butter till nice & tender

Brown venison & sausage in skillet, drain any fat, when browned put in large pot

add all remaining ingredients, bring chili to boil, cover

cook on warm heat for 6 to 8 hours, stir chili occasionally

cook again following day for 2 hours
