Molasses Cookies

PRODUCE

1/2 tsp ground ginger

CONDIMENTS

1/4 cup molasses

OILS

3/4 cup vegetable oil

REFRIGERATED

1 large egg

BAKING & SPICES

2 cups flour

2 tsp baking soda

1 1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground gloves

1 cup sugar

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp pure vanilla

INSTRUCTIONS

Whisk together in a shallow bowl the flour, cloves, ground ginger, baking soda, cinnamon and salt set aside

In another large bowl use hand mixer and beat the vegetable oil and sugar together on medium high speed until well blended. Add molasses and egg. Switching hand mixer to low add all dry ingredients and vanilla until well combined.

Shape cookie dough into a large ball, place cookie dough ball in mixing bowl

Cover the mixing bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate molasses cookie dough over tonight.

PREHEAT OVER 375

Using your hands or tablespoon shape cookie dough into small balls and roll in granulated sugar

Place cookies on baking pan

Bake 10 minutes

Remove cookies from oven and allow to cool about 10 minutes
