Blender
Large pot with water
Skillet sprayed with cooking oil
A bunch asparagus-cut ends off & chop
1 sweet onion-diced
2 garlic gloves-minced
3 cups fat free chicken broth
1 cup skim milk
1 tbsp fresh basil-minced
1/2 tsp each salt & pepper
splash of cayenne pepper-optional
Boil asparagus, until nice & tender
Saute onions, garlic, basil, salt, pepper & cayenne pepper, until tender
Drain asparagus & add all ingredients in blender, blend until smooth & creamy
Place soup back in pot
Cook on warm for about 20 minutes
