Lighter Penne a’ al Vodka

12 oz Penne

1 jar good marinara sauce/not cheap

1/4 cup Belvedere vodka

1 cup fat free half & half

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp salt

1 tbsp red pepper flakes

 

Bring large pot of water to a boil

 

Warm marinara sauce in sauce pan over medium heat. Slowly add milk,

vodka, Parmesan cheese, salt & red pepper flakes,  simmer for about 15 minutes.

 

Add pasta to boiling water, cook till tender, drain pasta

 

In a large mixing bowl add all ingredients, mix well

Garnish pasta with grated cheese & dried parsley

I used gluten free pasta, taste good

 

(Every other bite you may get a hint taste of good ole vodka)
