Classic BL T Sandwich

9×12 pan based with aluminum foil plus steel rack on top

Pre heat high heat. 375-400

Sour dough bread or thick French white bread , Toasted

Sliced thin fresh tomatoes

Thin slice ice burg lettuce

Thin slice romaine lettuce

10 slices , more or less , good thick bacon

Bourbon bacon sauce

Mix well

3 tbsp maple syrup

2 tbsp bourbon

Chipolte Mayo

Mix well

1/2 cup mayo

1/2 cup miracle whip

2 tsp lime juice

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp chili powder

1/4 tsp salt

1 tbsp Chipolte Peppers minced

with seeds

1/2 tsp can Chipolte sauce

Pepper Jam

Mix well

2 tbsp hot pepper jelly

2 tbsp mayo

1/2 tbsp fresh basil minced

Place bacon on rack, cook 10 minutes, baste with bourbon sauce, flip, continue every 10 to 15 minutes, flipping and basting.

Place bacon on plate over paper towel

Ensemble your BLT Sandwich with all sauces and ingredients,Beginning with one toasted bread, Chipolte mayo, lettuce, tomato, bacon , another toasted bread with pepper jam

Unbelievable BLT , you will be craving them every day ,

P.S. I never really eaten BLT’S until a couple of years ago. My husband introduced them to me. I’m a fan and you will also when you try mine.
