Butter inside of cast iron pan
Biscuits in tube, refrigerated
Bake biscuits as directed.
While biscuits are baking make the gravy
16 oz Jimmy Dean Sage ground sausage
3 tbsp butter
1/t tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp season salt
1/3 cup flour
1 1/2 cups whipping cream
1 cup whole milk
Cook and crumble sausage in cast iron pan on medium heat, add 3 tbsp butter allow to melt. add pepper, salt, onion powder, paprika and season salt mix well. Sprinkle flour over sausage blend well. Slowly add whipping cream and milk.
Allow to cook and stir frequently, until thick and bubbly
Serve gravy over cook biscuits
