Meats
1 lb lean hamberger
2 hot Italian sausage with skin removed, sliced thin
2 tbsp olive oil
2 onions chopped
1 green pepper chopped
2 garlic gloves minced
Condiments and Wine
1 28oz cans Marzano tomatoes chopped
1 28 oz Marzano stewed tomatoes
3 24 oz jars of marinara sauce
1 cup cabernet sauvignon wine
4 6 oz can tomato sauce
3 tbsp tomato paste
Spices and sugar
1/2 tsp thyme
1 tbsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp fresh basil
2 tbsp dried parsley
2 tbsp sugar
In large pot sautee onions, peppers and garlic in 2 tbsp olive oil, Keep stirring until all vegetables are nice in tender.
In another frying pan add beef and sausage, cook till there is no pink.
Tranfer cook meats to large pot with vegetables.
Add all remaining ingredients to large pot.
Bring sauce to a mild boil, cover sauce and put on low heat.
Stir sauce throughout the day every half in hour
