3 lbs good quality brats
Cook brats on medium charcoals, flipping frequently
When brats are done place on platter, refrigerate over night
1 bottle lite beer
1/2 cup brown sugar
Juice from brats on platter, should be jelly like
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1/4 cup bourbon
2 tbsp Barbecue sauce
2 tbsp grape jelly
3 tsp flour mix well with 2 tbsp water
1 tbsp fresh chop parsley
Bring beer and brown sugar to boil, reduce heat for 10 minutes, add corn starch and water, mix well until thickened
Add all remaining ingredients, cook and stir about 10 minutes.
Slice brats into coin shape, place in crock pot and add sauce
Add additional parsley on top of brat bites
Cook on high for 3 hours
Serve with tooth picks
P.S. the brats are fully cooked when you start to see them spit and blister
