Bake Corn Beef With Mustard Crust

 

 

 

This corn beef is a must on Saint Patrick’s Day

This is my husband’s delicious creation

So Damn Delish!!!

 

Ingredients:

3 lbs flat corn beef with pickling spice

1/4 cup honey mustard

1/4 cup stone ground mustard

2 tbsp light brown sugar

Black Peppercorn  2 tbsp

 

Directions :

1- pre heat oven 350

2- Drain from package 3 lb corn beef

3- Put corn beef on aluminum foil & place on a large cookie sheet

4- Take pickling spice from corn beef & sprinkle over corn beef

5- Evenly spread Peppercorn over corn beef

6- In a small bowl whisk together 1/4 honey mustard & 1/4 cup stone ground mustard

7- Spread mustard mixture over corn beef

8- Sprinkle brown sugar over mustard mixture

9-Wrap corn beef with aluminum foil

10-Place in oven & bake 2 hours

11- Open foil & broil corn beef 3 minutes or brown & crisp

12- Let corn beef rest 10 minutes, then place on cutting board, and cut on a diagonal, across the grain of the meat, into 1/2 thick
